Our Story
A family journey that began before AlSakhra had its name.
Our story began in Italy, but our roots reach back to Iraq.

A new chapter begins
Our family moved from Iraq to Rome, beginning a new chapter of our lives in Italy.

This is where our journey began
Deacon Boutros began helping friends, relatives, and small groups organize their journeys.
What started as a simple wish to help others grew into years of experience planning trips, accompanying groups, and caring for every detail of travel.

The journey grew
As more people traveled with him, trust grew, groups became larger, and the experience deepened year after year.
Over time, his three children — Atheer, Eva, and Anita — gradually joined him, each taking on different sides of the work.
